Dear Michael,

We just got back today and firstly, I would like to thank you for an excellent organised trip to Brazil. Brazil is truly a beautiful country. Everything went smoothly. We arrived in Rio and the Copacabana Palace was excellent. Bebel, our guide was an amazing person. She was full of information and very funny, we really enjoyed her company. Rio is a great city that is alive with great people and great food. We would certainly come back to Rio. We should have stayed at least another day.

Our next stop was in Foz do Iguazu where we were picked up by Carlos, who again was very up - to - date with the area and gave us a great insight into the sub - tropical rainforest and the state of Para. We loved the falls in Brazil and we were very excited that we also got to go to Argentina for the day. The Hotel das Cataratas was spectacular. We thought it was the best place we stayed in.

Then we were off to Manuas after landing in Curitiba and Brasilia. The Park Suites had a beautiful view of the Rio Negro, but otherwise we were not so impressed with this hotel, especially after staying at the previous two. On the way back from the Amazon we had a look at the Tropical and I think that would have been more suitable choice for us. But the Park Suites serviced its purpose for just the time we spent there.

Now the Anavilhanas Amazon jungle lodge was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our five days stayed in the jungle and the deluxe bungalows were superb. Robi, our guide really knew his stuff in the jungle and we would really love to visit the Amazon again one day. He also came back with us to Manaus and spent an afternoon with us showing us the meeting of the waters, the giant lilies and he even got us to touch an anaconda and a caiman.

Back to Brasilia and then onto Salvador, we were meet by Ubirajara, who again was very informative and showed us the beautiful city of Salvador. Here we could see again a wonderful mixture of people showing the true colours of Brazil. We also enjoyed staying at the Convento do Carmo - this is truly a special place. Bira then drove us up to Praia do Forte where once again we were very impressed with the Tivoli Eco Resort. It was the best opportunity to relax at the beach and enjoy the great wellness they had to offer. We also found Brazil to be very safe, especially in Rio where everyone had warned us to be very careful. We also had fantastic weather everywhere we went. We would totally recommend a visit to Brazil and your company to everyone.
